Understanding files and lines of code
How to see the history of your code in context
For times when you need context but don’t have a question, Unblocked will list past decisions, discussions, and relevant documents for whatever file you have open in your IDE’s explorer panel. As you open new files and browse through your codebase, the items listed in this panel will update in tandem.
You can also use Unblocked to get context about specific lines of code in a file. You can copy these lines of code and ask Unblocked about how they work, or, to see the history behind them, simply highlight the lines of code and Unblocked will show past Pull Requests and other context in the explorer panel of your IDE.
When you open a file that you or a teammate has asked Unblocked a question about, the Unblocked IDE plugin will check if the visible code has been referenced in any previous Unblocked answers, and will include those references for you.
