After you’ve connected your source code management system to Unblocked and integrated the tools your team uses to build your application, you’ll want to invite your team to use Unblocked.

Inviting Users

The steps below are for customers who are not using SSO with Unblocked. If you intend to provision and de-provision users through your SSO system, please refer to our docs on how to connect Unblocked with your SSO provider.

To add your team to Unblocked, you first need to authenticate to Unblocked on the web.

Once you’ve signed in, click Invite Members in the sidebar.

Here you’ll be given the option to get a link you can share directly with your team or to invite team members using their email address.

Invitations can only be accepted by members of your source code provider organization.

To use the sharable link, simply copy the URL and give it to your team members. If you prefer to send invites using your team’s email addresses, enter each email address in the box provided separated by a comma. Then click Send Invites.

You can also copy the invite link from the box in the right-hand sidebar of the web app.

User Settings

Once your team has accepted the invite to join Unblocked, you’ll want to encourage them to take a few key steps to set up Unblocked for use:

  1. Have them connect their accounts on the tools and systems you’ve integrated with Unblocked so they get the best possible responses.
  2. Have them download and set up the Unblocked Mac app and IDE extensions.

Managing Users

You can add and remove users from Unblocked at any point. For more instructions on how to do this, see our documentation on managing your plan.
