Connecting context about your codebase to Unblocked
To connect Jira with Unblocked, you need to be on the Business or Enterprise Plan. You can view all the features of Unblocked’s plans on our pricing page.
Unblocked exists to answer questions about your application, so it takes into account the context, data, and discussions that live across the systems your team uses. When you connect Unblocked with your Jira site, you’ll provide Unblocked with important context on how and why your codebase works. Most importantly, Unblocked will be able to use the Projects, Issues, and discussions your team has in your Jira site to answer questions you ask it, and it will provide links back to the information that it used for easy reference.
Connect your Jira Site
Sign in to Unblocked
Whether you sign in with a source code manager or your SSO provider, you first need to authenticate to Unblocked.
Once you’ve signed in, click Data Sources in the sidebar, and then the Add Sources tab. Scroll to the project management section and select Jira.
Next, you’ll be redirected to Jira, where you will sign in and grant Jira site access to Unblocked.
Selecting your Projects
After granting Unblocked access to your Jira site, you’ll be redirected back to Unblocked. Then, you can select whether Unblocked should index data from All Projects or Specific Projects in your Jira site.
We recommend providing access to All Projects. However, if you would like to select Specific Projects, then Unblocked will use only the projects you selected to answer your questions.
If you make a change here, click Save Settings. Unblocked will immediately adjust when finding answers to adhere to the settings you choose.
