# Install: JetBrains IDEs

> Set up Unblocked MCP with GitHub Copilot in IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, and WebStorm.

Unblocked MCP works with GitHub Copilot inside JetBrains IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, and WebStorm.

## Quick install (macOS)

Run the following command to install Unblocked MCP:

```bash theme={null}
curl -fsSL https://getunblocked.com/install-mcp.sh | bash
```

This will download the Unblocked CLI and configure your supported tools and agents automatically.

  The install script is currently supported on macOS only. Windows and Linux users should use the manual install instructions below.
</Note>

The installer configures the Unblocked MCP server for GitHub Copilot in your installed JetBrains IDEs. If you already have the [Unblocked CLI](/unblocked-cli/cli-overview) installed, run `unblocked install` instead.

## Manual install (macOS, Windows, Linux)

Configure your GitHub Copilot MCP settings with the remote Unblocked MCP server. Consult the [install instructions for other clients](/unblocked-mcp/install-other) for the connection parameters, and [contact us](https://getunblocked.com/dashboard?showIntercom=true) if you need help.
