# Install: ChatGPT

> Install the Unblocked plugin to use your team's context in ChatGPT.

Use the Unblocked plugin to answer questions in ChatGPT with context from your team's code, pull requests, messages, and documentation.

Before you start, make sure you can sign in to ChatGPT and Unblocked.

## Install the plugin

    Open [Unblocked in the ChatGPT plugin directory](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6a95d3a05d888191945f40e3221959b8). Sign in to ChatGPT if prompted.

    You can also open **Plugins** in ChatGPT, search for **Unblocked**, and open its details.

  <Step title="Install Unblocked">
    Select **Install plugin** or the **plus button** to install Unblocked.

  <Step title="Connect your Unblocked account">
    When prompted, sign in to Unblocked and authorize the connection. ChatGPT may ask you to connect during installation or the first time you use the plugin.

  <Step title="Start a new chat">
    Start a new chat so ChatGPT can use the plugin. Ask it to use Unblocked to answer a question about your team or codebase.

## Use Unblocked in a chat

For example, ask:

> Use Unblocked to explain why our team chose the current authentication approach. Include the relevant pull requests and discussions.

You can also type `@` in the message box and select **Unblocked** to choose the plugin directly.
