# File Uploads

> How to add files to your questions

You can upload local documents and images for Unblocked to reference directly in a question.

Press the 📎 button to select one or more files to attach or simply drag and drop files from your desktop.

You can add up to 5 documents (.pdf, .docx, .pptx, .xlsx, .csv, .htm/html, .txt/md) or images (.png, .jpg/jpeg).

Documents may be up to 3 MB per file. Images may be up to 5 MB per file.

  These files are only used within the question thread where they are uploaded.
  They are not stored as team data and cannot be accessed in other threads.
