# Update the GitHub Enterprise app

> Update Unblocked GitHub App permissions on GitHub Enterprise Server.

Use this page to update the Unblocked GitHub App permissions required for the Unblocked Continuous Integration Agent on GitHub Enterprise Server.

<Note>
  GitHub Enterprise admins or organization owners can update the app
  registration and accept the new permissions from Unblocked.
</Note>

## Add the required permissions in GitHub Enterprise

<Steps>
  <Step>In your GitHub Enterprise Server, navigate to the Unblocked GitHub App and click **App settings**</Step>
  <Step>In the app settings sidebar, click **Permissions & events**</Step>

  <Step>
    Configure the required permissions and event:

    * Under **Repository permissions**, set **Actions** and **Checks** to **Read-only**
    * Under **Subscribe to events**, select **Check suite**
  </Step>

  <Step>Click **Save changes**</Step>

The owners of each installed GitHub Org will receive an email notification from your GitHub Enterprise Server instance to accept the new permissions.
